I loved the beginning of the episode because it was so exciting and filled with drama. I thought it was very creative of Zack to use the skateboard in order to cover for Peter. Alicia better watch him, because he’s thinking a lot like his dad! I’m so glad she’s realizing what a dishonest cheating person Peter is. I was surprised when Alicia said they were staying together when that was never discussed. It was frustrating to watch Alicia trying to get answers from Peter and he was being vague, that should tell her something. It was funny watching Will do a mock trial for those law students, the scene was very well done. I loved how they connected the neighbor to the court case. It was great writing to connect those two things together. I wonder if Alicia is finally going to divorce Peter and go back to Will. I was surprised to hear that Cosco killed himself, but I have to wonder if he committed suicide, or if Peter had something to do with it. Not Peter himself since he hasn’t left the apartment, but someone who does his dirty work for him.

I really liked the opening of this episode with the jury discussing the murder case. It was a new and creative way to start the episode, and grab the audience. It was great to see and hear what it is like for a jury to make a decision. Up until now we only had witnesses and attorney’s point of view. I found the scene where the boyfriend testifies really funny, as well as the judge’s response. The scene with Diane and the expert was really cute, and well written. I think their relationship should be pursued more, because there hasn’t been a lot of romance on the show. The ending left me sitting on the edge of my seat in shock. I couldn’t believe Bianca took the plea bargain instead of waiting for the jury to come back with a verdict. They ended up finding her not guilty and she’s going to prison for something she didn’t do! I was stunned, but I understood why she took the plea bargain. Bianca didn’t know how it was going to play out, and wanted the smallest sentence possible. The last shot of the episode was great, because the jury didn’t say what the verdict was. It was shown when they dropped the papers in the trash. I really liked the showing not telling factor of that scene. The title of the episode was perfect because there was a lot of doubt in this murder case. The jury didn’t feel they had enough information to go on and didn’t know who to believe. That is why coming up with a verdict was so difficult.

I was really looking forward to this episode because something was going to happen between Will and Alicia. I would like to know more about their relationship at Georgetown, and how it ended. I was horrified about Alicia sleeping with Peter, that was the last thing I expected. I think she was substituting Peter for Will, which is not good. This only makes Peter believe things are moving forward between them. I liked how the camera zoomed in on the necklace with a cross on it during the love scene. That was a nice touch, since the pastor said Peter had to reconnect with Alicia.

I liked how this episode combined the issue of emergency surgery on a baby as well as abortion. That is definitely a subject matter people have an opinion on. That lawyer Nyholm is really annoying, and if that was the goal for her character, it was succeeded. The funniest part of the episode was when Will asked Nyholm what the name of her baby was, and she said “bite me.” That was hysterical!

I wonder if Peter is using this religious angle for publicity only. Does he really want to change? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

It seems that every episode keeps getting more and more exciting! My favorite scene from this one was Will challenging the judge on her rulings. It was beautifully written and acted because of the subtle detail. I didn’t even pick up on what the judge was doing until Will said something.

A witness was murdered because she testified against a drug dealer. I wonder if that was the reason or is there something else? The drug dealer’s employee was the one who killed her, but it was never revealed why he did it.

I was surprised about Becca doing the tweeting about Alicia and Peter. Does Zack not know or does he even care she’s messing with his parents? I think all he cares about is an older girl liking him and going all the way with her. Since he couldn’t find his condoms, will he go ahead and have unprotected sex?

Another great scene was Peter and Alicia’s fight when Peter found condoms in her drawer. Finally some emotion on Alicia’s part! I’ve been waiting for this. Hopefully there’s more where that came from.

I was looking forward to this episode for one particular reason and that was to see how Peter’s homecoming would play out. Peter is being federally investigated, but we don’t know why or for what. It seems that Peter is more corrupt then we thought. I would like to see more Peter and Alicia interactions about where they stand as husband and wife. I would like Alicia to show some emotion about what Peter has done instead of being a quiet little mouse.

Before this episode aired I had a prediction about Alicia and Will. I thought there would be some flirtation going on between them, and I was right. That would be interesting to explore more, and I think the writers should do more with them.

My favorite scene was in the court room with Santa Clause. I thought it was funny when Carey put ho, ho, ho in his argument.

I liked the irony of the case being about a wife testifying against her husband. That is a big connection to Alicia’s life since she can’t testify against Peter.

My question is how did Kalinda get the same photo of Peter that Zack has? I wonder if she is working with whoever sent the pictures.

One of the first things I noticed about this episode was Carey’s odd behavior! I wasn’t sure if he was high on something, because there were no scenes of him using. The big story was Jason Trucker being accused of killing Lisa, who watches his kids. I didn’t understand what the big deal was about him being held for 48 hours, or why Alicia and Carey had to be by his side the whole time. I think that should have been explained. Maybe they thought the police would take advantage of Jason if he didn’t have counsel present. I loved how more then one person was looking guilty for this murder, especially the security guard. He looked suspicious and I think the story should have explored that more. There was no answer to his questionable behavior. I loved how there was one twist after another. A lot of predictions were made to help move the story along and make it more interesting. I think the writers should have given more closure to this story. It was obvious the guy at Lisa’s dorm killed her, but I would have liked to see the consequences. At least there should have been a scene where he gets arrested.

Peter’s appeal was interesting because of Colinda’s testimony. I could tell Childs was trying to make Peter out to be a sex crazed maniac. I didn’t understand at first what client 12 meant, but then I looked at the judge, who was squirming, and I had my answer. He was client 12 and involved with the call girls. I have to wonder if Colinda had an affair with Peter, because she warned Alicia to stay away from the court house. If there had been a different judge, who wasn’t involved with call girls, would Peter have gotten a new trial? My gut is telling me Peter isn’t squeaky clean, which leads me to my next question. Why is Alicia letting Peter back into their home after everything he has done? The ending was great, I really liked the cliff hanger. I was wondering why the episode was called “hi,” but now I get it. Alicia opens the door and there is Peter, saying “hi.” I can’t wait to see how Peter coming home plays out. It is obvious that Alicia has very mixed feelings about it.

The biggest story was Collin Sweeney killing his wife and being found not guilty. His step daughter, Charlotte, was suing him for money. I loved the opening shot of photos in Collin’s house. The set designer did an amazing job because the colors were so bright and the pictures itself definitely said a lot. The saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” is certainly true. You can tell a lot about a person when it comes to what kind of artwork is in their home. It was the first couple scenes with Collin that I got the feeling he was a bit crazy.

The scene with Diane and Colinda in the gun store was very interesting to me. I didn’t know that a person with a firearm ID can buy a gun for another person who doesn’t have an ID. That explains all the illegal guns on the street, which is really scary to think about. One of the things that is so great about this show is that it educates you about issues you may not be aware of. Instead of Diane having a gun, which she obviously was uncomfortable with, she could have hired a police officer to guard her.

Something big happened at Peter’s appeal, I could feel it, based on Glenn Childs’ reaction, but it still remains a mystery. The big question is why didn’t those cases get pursued in Peter’s absence, even though he said to drop them? I think Childs had something to do with that.

I have to wonder why Alicia is letting Peter back into their home after all he has done. I think the writers need to explore that more. I’m sure I’m not the only one who is wondering that.

I liked the pattern of using the photos as an opening shot every time there was a scene at Collin’s house. I’m not quite sure who killed Caroline. I’m leaning towards Collin, but I don’t think Charlotte is all that innocent either. I loved how the writers made both of them look guilty. Maybe they are trying to set each other up to take the fall?

It was revealed that Amber Madison was being paid by Peter and Glenn Childs. She was sent to Peter by Childs, which is a major red flag. Something is really dirty about that character. I can tell he is getting nervous since he made Peter an offer at the end of the episode. Peter has a big decision to make: go free and not be able to practice law or risk more time in prison? I have a feeling he is not going to take Childs’ offer. I think Peter is going to work really hard to bring down Glenn Childs.

This episode was very interesting because it showed how little Alicia knows about what goes on in her house. Zack and Grace are keeping photos and dvds from her. Even though they are old enough to be at home alone, they obviously need supervision. I have to wonder what Becca’s agenda is, since she is older then Zack. As for Molly, I have the suspicion she was planted there by Glenn Childs. How did Alicia find her? I don’t think the kids lied about what Molly said about the HPV vaccine. It seemed like something she would say since she preaches about psychology all the time. Zack and Grace didn’t seem to have anything against her. Maybe they were afraid she was going to tell Alicia about the photos of Peter.

The biggest story was Ben Bowers dying from a drug overdose, and his doctor being charged with murder. I think Dr. Wesley perscribing meds out of the office is not a crime. Home visits aren’t as common as they used to be, but it is still a common practice. Calinda gets an offer to be a double agent for Glenn and Peter. I have to wonder where her loyalties are. Is she more loyal to Peter or Glenn? I want to know more about her relationship with Peter, maybe there is something crooked there. The most interesting scene to me was when Alicia goes to the pharmacy to find out how pills are perscribed and dispensed. The fact that some pharmacists don’t take the time to count pills or barcode them, is really unsettling. I didn’t even think that sort of thing happens in real life. I learned something new from that scene. I think when the pharmacy fired Alicia’s firm, they were showing that there is something to hide. I think that pharmacy should be further investigated. Since the hospital parked Ben for 15 minutes, I believe that played a role in his death. Maybe the hospital isn’t so squeaky clean.

It was a great twist when Calinda found out the gym guy also sold pills to Ben’s mother. I think the combination of Ben’s mom’s pills and the 80mg he got from the guy at the gym, is what killed him. That is pretty sneaky how Ben disguised the aspirin so his mom would have no idea. Parents think they know their kids, but kids are not always forthcoming. Alicia will eventually have to learn that.

I want to apologize for the delay of a new post. I had to move across the country very suddenly.

I really enjoyed the creativity of this episode’s story. The possibility of having a bipolar judge, or a judge that is prejudiced is scary to think about. If a judge is off his meds or the defendant has the wrong color skin, their life can be over in an instant.

This episode was extremely well done because it kept me guessing throughout the hour. There was one twist after another, just when you think they have the answer, it unfolds into something else. First it was Baxter being biased because his wife was “attacked” by a black man. This lead to the discovery of his gambling debt, and who he was paying off. Baxter gets a pay off for sending kids to a certain prison. Baxter should never be able to practice law ever again, I can only imagine how many people are in there who shouldn’t be.

I knew something was off with Shannon’s mother. At first I thought she was abusive towards her daughter, but then it all made sense. Peter sent her husband to prison, not that she should take it out on his daughter because she is not her father. I loved when Jackie sprayed her with water. She refuses to believe her son could be wrong or do anything bad. Jackie puts Peter up on a pedestal, which makes me wonder about Jackie’s relationship with Peter’s father. Was he crooked or unfaithful? Maybe that’s why she’s encouraging Alicia to stay with Peter. In her generation there was no divorce, women stayed with their husbands no matter what.

I liked the idea of Diane becoming a judge. It is interesting how she lost that offer when she questioned Baxter’s judgment to the Supreme Court. I think that is completely unfair and goes against an ethical responsibility to the law. No matter what position a person may hold, they have every right to report a problem, especially if it affects others.

I liked the opening shot of Duke Roscoe’s show, because it was a great summary of what the episode was going to be about. Duke is definitely someone who pushed a lot of moral buttons. People like him don’t think about the impact words can have on others. It is all about ratings and making the story exciting. The more exciting the story, the more people will watch and come back for more. I think Duke should have lost the case because he was being a dishonest journalist. The facts were not double checked they were lies. He reminds me a little of Howard Stern and Rush Limbaugh, running off at the mouth, which can be trouble.

We got to see how dirty Glenn Childs really is. He is the one who is sending the dvds and letters to Alicia’s house and he blames her for his divorce, which is ridiculous. One conversation with Glenn’s wife did not cause his divorce, her mind was already made up. Glenn tapped Peter and Alicia’s phones which makes me believe in the possibility that Peter was set-up for something.

A volunteer made up a lie about Sheryle Willins to get noticed by Duke Roscoe. It is not right to lie to begin with, especially when it sets off a chain of events that can’t be undone. I don’t think the volunteer realized what she set in motion and how she messed with people’s lives.

I have two favorite scenes from this episode. The first is when Will tells the father the police think they found his daughter. It was really well acted and you could feel the intense emotion. The other scene that I loved was at the end when Duke says Diane is gay on television and she bursts out laughing. The whole case was about whether or not Duke was honest with his facts and he won that case! Obviously not even a judge could see past the lies and someone who is trying to make good TV.
